the arrival of Aisha Alwani Bt Anas Mukrimin (12/03/2013- Tuesday 6.01am- 29 Rabiul Akhir 1434 Hijrah)

Ok as promise, here’s the chronology on the birth of our lil princess, Aisha Alwani Bt Anas Mukrimin

07/03/2013 (Thursday)

Today is supposedly the EXPECTED due date. However, until that day, no sign of baby aisha coming out yet….the doc (Dr Mazita) dh ckp awal2… if no signs yet, have to induce (Oh noooo!!!) coz it would be risky if we were to wait further... =(

We went for check-up (CTG) that afternoon, doc asked us if I want to proceed with the induction...but then we decided to wait until Monday, if baby xnak keluar jgk terpaksa la induce huhu

11/03/2013 (Monday)

9.00am- So pg2 lg mummy n daddy check in at DEMC, Shah Alam. OK la the room was kinda 4- star, ada toilet skali…sgt selesa and with Astro too!!

9.20am- Kitorg lepak2 dulu smpai nurse dtg utk buat CTG (monitoring the contraction and baby’s heartbeat)..still no contraction…baby is also doing well inside

9.40am- 1st induction

12.00pm- 2^nd CTG, contraction ada la sket2 tp xteruk lg…baby also ok

3.15pm- Opening br 1 cm…the the midwife decided to give the 2^nd induction to speed up the process

4.30pm- 3^rd CTG…contraction getting stronger…baby still safe and sound inside mummy’s tummy

10.00pm- Contraction getting much stronger now but still can tahan…opening still 1cm

12/03/2013 (Tuesday)

1.30am- Now the contraction is like hell…every  1 min….opening 3cm…ask the midwife for pain killer (injection), but still cannot bear the pain…then the midwife ask to proceed to the labour room (first time naik wilcha ok huhu)

2.00am- Have changed into the patients outfit, midwife bg sedut laughing gas sementara nk tgu anesthetic doc to arrive..and yes I opt for epidural and tak menyesal langsung!!… …the gas is just for distraction, but still I can feel the pain…daddy just sit by mummy’s side the whole time bg support…(thanks daddy xoxo)

3.00am- the anesthetic doc finally arrived…give me the dose..then its like magic!!…the pain has really gone away! But then the side effects came…I was shivering the whole time…the epidural was so cold… then I fall to sleep…like so tired coz bearing the pain…daddy pn xtdo2 the whole night

3.30am- contraction now 5 cm…then the midwife broke my water to speed up the process

5.30am- baby’s head is visible…I can feel her anxious coming out already!! But coz the doc xsmpai2 lg so the midwife asked me to wait…then 15 mins later, the doc finally came!! Terus dia suruh push!!

6.01am- after 3 pushes (plus vakum which both mummy n daddy xprasan pn doc guna vakum) the baby is finally out of the oven!!! …doc bg baby kt mummy…for the first time she’s in my arms..blessed…then doc bg kt midwife for cleanup…lepas tu midwife bg kt daddy for daddy to azan/iqamat…Alhamdulillah syukur =)

ni dia si comel mummy daddy... cuba tgk muka cam sapa =)
